Taking Action

What is the best thing for me to do? Successful, happy and thriving people share one common behavioral pattern. They all act with intention. Choose to plan, choose to think about pleasant memories, and choose to make a difference in the world. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. This idiom is true in every aspect of your life. You can go through haphazardly making choices, and frequently fall prey to those around you who want to hurt, manipulate or otherwise use you. OR, you find a time each day to imagine how you want YOUR life to be.

How do you think Walt Disney built his empire? Do you think that he laid a single brick? Do you think that help carry any of the materials? Did he unload a single truck? The answer is "probably not" ... he dreamed the buildings and others who had the skill and the time and were willing to work for money, built the dream. This is true for all of us. Our futures begin as dreams or visions which, after believing that they are possible, eventually become real. In relationships, we frequently make the mistake of believing that we will attract the wrong type person for us. We believe that we seem to attract the crazies. What happens? We do!

You have the ability to create any reality you desire. Remember, the dream is YOURS. If you share your dream and others laugh or are dismissive ... what do you expect, it's not their dream. Take some time to focus on what is right for you, what makes you feel pleasant, happy, and complete. Devote time each day creating a more vivid image and attach sensory data to the image, like color, sounds, smells, sensations ... make your dream YOUR miracle.
